- A KvK number is the 8-digit Chamber of Commerce registration id in the Netherlands. This tool checks the format locally; it does not query the Handelsregister.
- How do I verify a Dutch BTW (VAT) number?
- Enter an NL VAT like NL123456789B01. We validate the format (and elfproef when possible), then you can confirm live status via EU VIES.
- Does VIES work for KvK numbers?
- No. EU VIES only validates VAT numbers. Use VIES for BTW; KvK stays a local format check here.
