Core playbook
Write it down once so every shift doesn't reinvent “what's a warn vs a ban.”

Structure
- Public rules (short) + staff handbook (specific examples + edge cases).
- Role ladder: trial → junior → senior → lead — with named capabilities, not vibes.
- Escalation: warn → timeout/mute → kick → ban, with “skip to ban” for severe cases listed.
- Evidence: message links, screenshots, timestamps — stored where only staff can see.
Staff culture
Mods don't argue sentences in public. Decisions get logged; appeals go to a lead. Burnout kills fairness — rotate shifts and allow “I need a break” without drama.
