Federated Chat Platform Harmony Emerges as Discord Alternative
A new chat platform, Harmony, promises to bring the ease of Discord to the security of email-like federation.
Harmony seeks to bridge the gap between the ease of use of popular chat platforms and the security of decentralized networks like email.
By using a federated architecture, Harmony allows users to communicate without relying on a single, central authority.
This approach could be particularly appealing to communities that value data sovereignty and independence.
However, Harmony's adoption will depend on the growth of its user base and the development of compatible clients and servers.
