End-to-End Encrypted Alternative to Discord Enters Open Beta
New project offers private communication without profiling or monetization
OpenArcanum, a new end-to-end encrypted communication platform, has entered open beta. This alternative to Discord prioritizes user privacy and security, with no profiling or monetization.
Unlike Discord, OpenArcanum doesn't collect user data or display ads. The project's maintainer aims to keep the platform free from commercial interests, with a simple 'donate' button to support maintenance costs.
The platform is still in its early stages, with a web client available for testing. Mobile apps are planned for the future, pending user interest. No accounts or user tracking are required, ensuring complete anonymity.
OpenArcanum's open-source nature allows developers to review and contribute to the code. This transparency fosters trust and encourages community involvement in shaping the platform's future.
For community moderators and webmasters, OpenArcanum offers a unique opportunity to explore an alternative to traditional communication platforms. Its focus on security and user privacy may appeal to those seeking a more private online experience.
